CRISIS
Besides the cost of liquid nitrogen which runs to $15,000 a year, the temperature-controlled cryofreezer unit has failed and a new one will cost $17,500. These needs totalling $32,500 are critical. Please help to save the only major genetic resource of Phytophthora, one of the most important destroyers of important crops and native forests. The situation is desperate. After 50 years the only major collection of this important plant pathogen will cease to exist. Please help by purchasing cultures at this special price
