Besides the cost of liquid nitrogen which runs to $15,000 a year, the temperature-controlled cryofreezer unit has failed and a new one will cost $17,500. These needs totalling $32,500 are critical. Please help to save the only major genetic resource of Phytophthora, one of the most important destroyers of important crops and native forests. The situation is desperate.
